Adish, where fashion meets social commentary

Founded in 2018 by Israelis Amit Luzon and Eyal Eliyahu, Palestinian Qussay K and Palestinian-American artist Jordan Nassar, Adish is more than just a clothing brand, it's a powerful voice for peace and justice. The brand's name itself, 'apathetic' in Hebrew, reflects the emotional state that the founders perceive in the people around them regarding the occupation and oppression of the Palestinian people; it is through art and creativity that the brand aims to turn this apathy into positive action. Combining contemporary streetwear silhouettes with Tatreez, a traditional Palestinian embroidery, each Adish piece is handmade by local artisans and craftswomen, promoting ethical production, fair labour and preservation of cultural heritage. The result of this joint effort between Israeli and Palestinian artists is a collection of T-shirts, jackets, pants and more that celebrates heritage and promotes positive change.
